One of the newest trends in accounting systems is that of user portals
and Great Plains supports Internet users very well. The “Internet User
Defined Setup” screen shown below is used to enter labels for the
Internet information you want to track for employees, customers,
salespeople, vendors and items.

Later these fields are used to create and
set up the web portal home page and sub pages to be used by internet
users.
